Karen L. Staten
Karen L. Staten is a consummate speaker, author, minister, entrepreneur and educator. Best known for her unwavering determination to help others realize their unique gifts and talents. With over 20 years of experience, she has empowered countless young adults with wisdom, guiding them toward success and assisting them to find their purpose in life. Her extensive work with non-profit youth organizations spans the globe. It includes affiliations with Youth Alive, Rhema Youth, Go Hard for Christ, 100 Black Men of Chicago, Project Exploration, and Legacy Flight Academy. Through these collaborations, Karen has made a significant impact on the lives of many young people. In addition to her mentorship, Ms. Staten launched Youth Faith Keys (YFK), a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the critical issues faced by youth aspiring to attend college. She is committed to fostering youth development, as exemplified by her latest endeavor, Wisdom Speaks Publishing, LLC, a company focused on inspiring and publishing the works of young writers. Her academic achievements are equally impressive. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois and Rhema Bible Training Center in Youth Ministry and has completed a creative writing course in the master’s program at DePaul University.
